Novated leasing – without the smoke and mirrors.

The plain-English version: it’s a way to pay for a car (and run it) from your salary before tax, so you keep more of what you earn. Here’s how it works, and the bits other providers don’t tell you.

Your car

How it works

Four players. One
agreement.

The ‘novated’ part just means there’s a written agreement between you, your employer and us. The financier sits behind us. You only ever deal with one team.

  1. You Drive the car. Pay nothing out of post-tax salary.
  2. Positive SP We coordinate everything: finance, fuel card, rego, servicing, end-of-lease.
  3. Your employer Forwards a portion of your pre-tax salary to us. That's their job in 30 seconds a fortnight.
  4. The financier Owns the car for the lease term. They never call you.
What's included

Everything that makes the car go – bundled.

Finance

Your lease repayments, sorted.

Fuel & charging

Visa-branded card. Any servo. Any charger.

Insurance

Comprehensive, fleet pricing.

Rego & CTP

We pay it. You forget about it.

Servicing

Logbook services at any qualified mechanic.

Tyres

When they're due, we replace them.

Vehicle procurement

We hunt the car down. Stock, demo, second-hand, anything.

Ongoing support

One direct line — for five years.

The honest math

Out-of-pocket, not ‘tax savings’.

‘Tax savings of $X,000’ is the industry’s favourite headline. The number that matters is what’s left in your bank account each fortnight, compared to financing the same car a different way. Here it is, both ways.

Legitimacy

Yes – this is legitimate.
Here’s why.

  1. ATO-approved arrangement Novated leasing is explicitly recognised by the Australian Taxation Office. It's how thousands of public-service workers, teachers and nurses already drive.
  2. How FBT works (in 60 seconds) Fringe Benefits Tax is the lever that makes it work. We calculate it, declare it, and use the Employee Contribution Method so your employer pays $0 in FBT.
  3. Our accreditations Members of NALSPA (national salary-packaging body), AFCA dispute resolution, FBAA finance broking association, and the QGov SOA panel.

When it's not for you

If any of these is you, be honest with yourself.

We’d rather not sell you a lease than sell you the wrong one. Five out of every hundred people who get this far don’t go ahead – and we think that’s the right number.

Unstable employment

You're a contractor or you're casually employed and your pay differs week-to-week.

Changing Jobs

You expect to leave your current job within ~12 months and don't want to refinance.

Lower Income

Your income is below ~$50,000 — the tax saving on a non-EV gets thin.

Older Vehicles

You're chasing a 7-year-old used car under $15,000. We can do it; a car loan might be simpler.
